Laser dentistry is virtually painless, but Dr. Van Gorden or Dr. Steinbach may use one of our sedation dental solutions to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible during the procedure.

For the first week following your laser treatment, we recommend eating softer foods and avoiding chewing in the location of the procedure. 

Depending on the severity of the issue, it generally takes two to four weeks to completely heal. While you may resume normal brushing, we advise you to proceed gently and carefully during your healing process.
